Top 5 WordPress Navigation Plugins
I love plugins. Adore them actually! Don’t believe me? Take a look at my credits page. If you’d like to make it easier for your visitors and yourself to Navigate through your site there are many plugins that enable you to. Here are my top 5.

- 1. Breadcrumb Nav XT is a plugin that allows you to leave links all the way back to the homepage if the current page is a child page, grandchild page, etc. Also showed in the image above. It is a great plugin that really helps your visitors. Breadcrumb Nav XT is customizable to your theme and you are able to place it anywhere.

- 2. Broken Link Checker is very handy. It allows you to see all of your links that don’t link the right way so you are able to fix them. When finished all you do is press Discard and the notice goes away.

- 3. Clean Archives Reloaded is just a fancy Archives page. It shows all of your months and how many posts are in that month and when the month is clicked on it expands to show your list of archives for that month. This is great for visitors who do not want to just keep scrolling down your archives page. To see an example click here.

- 4. Page Tree is a simply plugin for a sitemap. When you post more pages they add automatically to your site map. Page Tree uses a lot of <li> and <ul> to produce a clean look that is categorized nicely. To see an example click here.

- 5. WP-Page Navi is very useful. It’s exactly like a Next and Previous button but more precise with Pages: 1, 2, 3, 4 … etc. There is an example on my homepage and also for whenever you click any of my archives you are able to go forward or back.
