Dream Factory
by Brad Barkley and Heather Helper
Disney has a problem. All of their characters have gone on strike so they call in teens as replacements. Luke (character: Dale) and Ella (character: Cinderella) fall for each other while on a scavenger hunt. The problem? Dale belongs to Chip (Cassie) and Cinderella belongs to Prince Charming (Mark).
Luke knows that Cassie is perfect for him and so is the job that’s back at home for him just waiting but he doesn’t want his life all planned out. Cassie wants Luke to follow in his Father’s footsteps and take the job but is Luke sure he’s ready? The only one that keeps Luke guessing is Ella.
“Dream Factory” is a story about love and the not-so-glamorous life of a Disney Character. Maybe Disney isn’t that magical but with a few sprinkles of love with a side order of Dale and Cinderella it can be.
I really enjoyed this novel because it was different. I really liked the whole Disney theme of it and how real everything was. I enjoyed this book for it’s romance and it’s fun depiction of life within the Magic Kingdom.
